thanks for the memories.

i've never been told i look like a famous person. and until i saw felicity (and pretty much ever since) ive never felt very much like any character id seen on screen either. not that this stopped me from feeling close to them. but all through high school, the popular kids (OK -- pretty much everyone in school who wasnt my friend, and this sadly includes the assistant principal) called me Kat. i knew it was the character in a movie i'd never seen, and i knew that everyone seemed to think this girl, played by julia stiles, was "just, like, exactly like Lo." so, i refused to see it. until college, when i finally caved.

there are plenty of differences (duh) but mostly -- yeah, its scarily familiar. all of this brings me to a piece henry wrote over at paste, that is well -- awesome.
